Marine Veterans to Honor Retiring Joint Chiefs Chairman General Peter Pace and Mrs. Pace at Exposition

Washington, DC—The retiring Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine General Peter Pace, and his wife, Mrs. Lynne Pace, will be honored by the 65,000-member Marine Corps League during the 2007 Modern Day Marine Military Exposition’s Grand Banquet. General Pace will be presented with the League’s highest award, the Military Order of the Iron Mike, and Mrs. Pace will receive the organization’s highest award for women, the Dickey Chapelle Award.
