Registration:
Attendees do not need to register in advance for Modern Day Marine 2010. All uniformed Marines may enter the exhibit halls without a registration badge. Other military services, civilians and industry representatives will need to register on site and obtain a complimentary registration badge during the registration open hours. There is no fee to attend Modern Day Marine 2010.
Base Information:
Modern Day Marine will be held at MCB Quantico, located off of Interstate 95 in Virginia, 36 miles south of Washington DC and 20 miles north of Fredericksburg.
If you plan to drive aboard the Base, be sure to have your valid driver's license ready, as you will need to present it to the guard at the gate.
Directions:
From I-95: Take exit 150, Quantico/Triangle. Take route 619 east to the entrance of the base.
Marine sentries assist visitors arriving at the base; visitors are issued vehicle passes and given directions to their destination. Proper identification, such as a state driver's license, is required to get onto base.
Please note: You will need proper Government Issued ID to get on the base.
Modern Day Marine Terms and Conditions
Modern Day Marine is open to all active duty and retired individuals of the armed services, government agencies, foreign attaches and embassies, military educational institutions and defense contractors. This event is not open to the general public. Children will not be permitted in the Exhibit Hall with the exception of Thursday, September 30 which is designated as Family Day. Children may attend the Expo on Thursday only if they are accompanied by an adult at all times. Student groups or military cadets must be pre-approved by Show Management to attend and an adult group leader must be present with the group at the event. No photography or filming is permitted of exhibitor’s products or booth unless approved by the exhibitor.
