The 27th anniversary of the Marine Corps South Exposition Visits Camp Lejeune from 11 to 12 April

The south’s largest military exposition dedicated to expeditionary capabilities will visit Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, from Apr. 11, 2018 to Apr. 12, 2018. Featuring interactive presentations, displays and competitions including the Military Battle Challenge, the I-GAME tactical Counter-IED enabler, the AAV survivability program, and an overview of immersive mobile technology. Camp Pendleton, Calif. — The west coast’s largest military exposition dedicated to expeditionary capabilities will visit Camp Pendleton, Calif., from Feb. 7, 2018 to Feb. 8, 2018. Featuring a new electric utility concept vehicle, the Military Battle Challenge and the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) – which is the replacement for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). 37th Modern Day Marine Military Expo Set for Quantico, Virginia, September 19-21

Washington, DC—The 37th anniversary of the world’s largest military exposition focused on enhancing expeditionary force capabilities will be presented at Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region (MCINCR) – Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico, Virginia, September 19 – 21. This year marks the 25th consecutive year the show has staged at MCINR – MCB Quantico, and the 12th year at Lejeune Field, the main parade deck on base. The Modern Day Marine Military Exposition is proud to be the largest multi-day annual event taking place aboard historic MCB, Quantico, known as the “Crossroads of the Corps,” especially on this 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Cops’ most iconic installation. Marine Military Expositions Announces New Show Director

Quantico, VA—The Marine Military Expositions, comprised of three events – Marine West, Marine South and its flagship show Modern Day Marine – recently announced the hire of a new Show Director, Alex Hetherington.

Alex Hetherington is a Marine aviator who retired in 2010 and has been working as a program manager for Marine Corps Training & Education Command, developing requirements and methodologies for Marine Corps capabilities assessments. His twenty-one year career flying the AH-1W included combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as a tour as a Border Transition Team leader embedded with the Iraqi armed forces.
