ATTENTION: New Traffic Patterns on Marine Corps Base Quantico

Russell Road will be outbound traffic only from Dunlap Circle to Purvis Road from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. No Bicycle Traffic on the impacted stretch of Russell Road will be permitted during this time.

Inbound traffic from the back gate will be detoured onto Purvis Road to Fuller Road.

The Route 1 Northbound exit ramp to the back gate of the base will be blocked from 2 – 5:30 p.m. All traffic will be directed to the front gate.

Engineer Road will be open 3 – 4:30 p.m. for those wishing to exit through Officer Candidates School.

Attendees are encouraged to use the shuttle bus service, walk and carpool to reduce traffic congestion.

Satellite parking lots with shuttle service will be located at:

  • Pruitt Hall Lot – Anderson Avenue
  • Freeney Lot at Broadway and 5th – across from The Marine Corps Association
  • National Museum of the Marine Corps
  • Steam Plant Field – dry weather only – on Barnett Avenue across from Barber Gym

To Attend

Modern Day Marine Military Expo is open to Department of Defense and Defense Industry affiliated personnel only – MDM is not open to the general public.

Uniformed Marines do not need to register for a badge. Retailers, Retired Marine’s and Contracting Officials may register at no charge. Manufacturers not exhibiting in Modern Day Marine must register and will be charged a non-exhibiting manufacturer fee (see details at bottom of page).
Emerald Expositions reserves the right to accept, reject or prohibit registration for or attendance at its events at any time for any reason. 

Special Items of Interest

  • Wednesday, September 20, Enlisted Awards Parade: This event is open to all interested military and civilians. The Marine Barracks, 8th & I, and the Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps are the marching units.
  • Thursday, September 21 is “Family Day.” Children under 16 years of age are welcome if accompanied by a parent.

Marine Military Expos Non-Exhibiting Manufacturer, Supplier or Producer Policy (NONEX): Expo floor registration is open to industry professionals only. Manufacturers and certain distributors/suppliers who do not exhibit in the show will be charged $300 admission to the show floor. Badges will be limited to five (5) from any approved NONEX company. NONEX’s can attend a Marine Military Expo for one (1) year to evaluate the event for future participation. Access to the show by NONEX’s will be limited to executive level personnel only – no sales titles. Consistent with our current policy, approved or unapproved NONEX’s will not be allowed under any circumstance to hold offsite events at show appointed hotel properties. Marine Military Expos reserves the right to accept or reject registrations and to cancel any previously accepted reservations, at any time, at its sole discretion, without liability to the registrant or any other party. This policy was instituted to maintain the professional environment of the show, while protecting the interests of our attendees and exhibitors.
